In The Community
For us, giving back isn’t just something we do in our spare time – it’s something we do at work.
Throughout the year we host a variety of fundraising and volunteer initiatives, supporting local and international non-profits.
Our passion to give back is embedded in our corporate culture, supported and driven by our partners. You’ll see people from every corner of the Zeifmans team participating in our community events because we believe we have a responsibility to help however we can.
Over the years, we have built a deep and sustained partnership with two amazing charities, both of which focus on the health and wellbeing of children and youth.
70% of mental health problems have their onset during childhood or adolescence, but only 20% of children will receive the mental health services they need. We’re doing our small part to help make these services more accessible.
Our impact
2021
Reunited and back in the office in 2021, we kicked our community participation in high gear with our One Kind Word campaign. Together with our amazing team, we matched funds and mobilized to raise tens of thousands of dollars for our deserving partners this year – through our continued support of Jack Ride, Giveback Thursdays, and Zeifmans Spirit Week. Another highlight was sponsoring and packing camp kits for Chai Lifeline’s Camp Lifeline Away.
2020
With pandemic restrictions in full swing, the 11th annual Jack Ride went virtual – and so did our cheering squad. Our team recorded some creative and moving messages of support for those riding, running or walking in support of the cause.
2019
2019 was another great year with jack.org, and we had the opportunity to again sponsor a Jack Ride rest stop. Inspired by our amazing experience, we wanted to share the positive energy and excitement our riders and cheerleaders brought back from the event with our clients and the rest of our team. So in the summer of 2019, as we celebrated Nexia International’s Nexia Day, we organized a mini fundraising event to capture the spirit of the larger annual ride. Everyone pushed their limits during our adult trike relay race and best of all, our Zeifmans community of staff, clients and friends helped raise $20,000 for an amazing cause!
2015 – TODAY
We’ve been big Jack Ride supporters since 2015 when fundraisers raised money by racking up the miles on stationary bikes. As the ride gained momentum the following year, in what would quickly become a tradition, we sponsored our first-ever Zeifmans-branded rest stop to refuel and refresh riders. Staff volunteered to prepare and hand out snacks and drinks, and most importantly, cheer riders on!
