Biography
Kwesi is a driven tax and advisory professional focused on serving private equity and capital markets clients, with a long-term vision of building a leading practice in these sectors. He brings a strong foundation in cross-border tax, transaction support, and financial reporting, combined with experience working alongside asset managers, family offices, and operating businesses.
In public accounting, Kwesi has developed deep experience advising high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients on complex tax matters, including cross-border structuring, tax-efficient investment strategies, and transaction-related planning. He has contributed to private equity due diligence engagements and works closely with clients on tax projections, structuring considerations, and ongoing compliance. His background in assurance and financial reporting further enables him to provide commercially grounded, technically rigorous advice.
Prior to public accounting, Kwesi held roles in asset management and investment environments, where he supported portfolio companies through financial analysis, cash flow planning, and board-level reporting. This experience informs his practical, investor-focused approach when advising clients in capital deployment and value creation scenarios.
Kwesi holds CPA designations in both Ontario and Illinois and is a Level III candidate in the CFA Program. He is currently completing the In-Depth Tax Program and pursuing a Masters of International Tax Law and Policy through Texas A&M, further deepening his expertise in global tax frameworks and transaction structuring.
